NEWS & EVENTS

Coach German will be an onsite director for the McCracken Basketball Camp, which is holding a Complete Skills Camp for Boys at Adrian College July 26-30. Coach German has been involved with the McCracken Camps for over 30 years, as a player, counselor, and site director.

This week-long camp will be conducted using the same philosophies that Coach German teaches both at his summer camps, as well as with his own high school teams.

Please join Coach Eric Cukierski and his three running mates as they plan to run "rim to rim" at the Grand Canyon (48 total miles). Their purpose is to raise awareness and money for charities to make a DIFFERENCE.

A special fundraiser is planned at Sidelines Restaurant on Tuesday, June 30th (5-9 pm), where 20% of sales will go thward their cause.

Congratulations to our 08-09 Kicking Mules, who were named to the Class A Academic Honorable Mention list with an overall GPA of 3.3088. Way to go, boys!

The 2009 Summer Basketball Page is now available. All boys that plan on trying out for the 2009-2010 teams are strongly encouraged to take advantage of both the Steve Mix League, as well as all of the Open Gyms.

All kids entering grades 3-8 in the fall are invited to attend our popular summer basketball camp and league, sponsored by Bedford Basketball.

The Camp takes place June 22-25 from 9:00 - Noon. The registration deadline is June 8th, or we can not guarantee a t-shirt in your size.

Congratulations to Ricky Rightnowar, who was named to the Class A All-State Honorable Mention list for the 2008-2009 season.

Ricky was also voted to the All-Region List, finishing 2nd in Player of the Year voting.

  • Pic 1No matter how much we scout, review film, and prepare in practice, the game will never unfold exactly as we hope or plan. This is why our practices and style of play are designed to take advantage of our players' individual abilities to adjust and respond with a freedom that brings out your most competitive nature. We want our players to play the game uninhibited yet under control.
  • Any boys interested in trying out for next year's squads should be taking advantage of this time to improve athletically. Strength, quickness, speed, and overall ability will be key factors for selection next fall.

This allows us to double the number of boys that will be able to play Junior High basketball. We feel this is a critical component in providing more competitive basketball at the high school level.
